2001 Post-Season

BROOKLYN, New York. The Gowanus Heights Softball League started its 2001 Play-Off Tournament this past Saturday where eight of their top ten teams battle it out to win the league championship.
In the first round of GHSL Play-Off Tournament this past weekend the Hit Squad defeated the Cobras in two games. The second seed Chaos swept the Dogs of Doom. Assault upset the number three seed, Bums, in three games. Crusaders Split with the Slugs and are still in the late innings of the third and deciding game. The winner of that game goes on to the second round.
Hit Squad awaits the winner of the Crusaders versus Slugs game and will play the early game this weekend. Assault advances to face the Chaos in the late game on Saturday September 8. Bums, Dogs, and Cobras were sent home packing.
